I, personally average about 4-6 yards per hour over the course of week's work, including travel time.

Dirty Doody's technique is one that provides a very speedy, clean, easy way of scooping waste and disposing of it which is why we have some of the lowest rates out of ANY scooper business nation wide.  I'm not going to dispose of some of our company secrets here but set up for each yard is about 10 seconds and after cleaning waste, breaking down is about 5 seconds.

• What do you do in the winter?

Dirty Doody hibernated last winter due to owners choice, however the first three winters we did work through it.  On some occasions yes due to the weather you will not be able to work, however you do what you can to stay on top of the waste that way when spring comes your cleanings won't be as laborous.  If you miss a visit and can't get by with in a day or two you simply credit the customer for next month.

• Could you also clean apartments and condo grounds?

Absolutely! Most of our clients are residential however Dirty Doody clients also include commercial clients.  Pretty much any commercial business in Durango could use our service, especially if they sit along or near the river trail as people walking their dogs many times will not clean up after them.  Dirty Doody Services also provides small litter clean up in their price for commercial businesses as well so your business stays nice and clean from not only dog waste but trash too.

I can honestly say that our customers simply LOVE our services!

Not only do we service residential customers but we also service commercial businesses as well so if you also need some control on your small litter issues we can help there as well.  We have even had customers call us for fruit pickup in the fall which yes, we can do that too!

Once you call us and we set you up on a service schedule that is pretty much it!  We will come out, give you an estimate, provide your first cleaning if you wish and go from there.  All you have to do is sit back, pay your bill each month and enjoy a nice clean yard!

We currently only accept checks, cash, money orders at this moment.  In the past we have accepted credit cards however to cut down on the overhead we had to cancel that for the time being.  Hopefully in the future though we can get that going again as to provide convenience for our customers.

Health hazards that dog waste can carry

Dog waste is just as harmful as any other waste.  Storm water can leach the waste into the ground or even off into drinking areas (just look at our river trail along the Animas River here in Durango!) and pollute our drinking water.  It's better to dispose of that dog poop immediately because bacteria and parasites like Roundworm, Hookworm, Tapeworm and Whipworm may grow in the yard possibly infecting your pets, family or others.
